D I G N I T Y
Dignity is a STORYTELLING PLATFORM documenting the theme of resilience and triumph in manhood. Photography, fashion and videography are our chosen tools to tell stories that inspire and heal MEN OF COLOR globally.
Our growing platform is committed to 3 outputs at the end of our process with our gentlemen. A Dignity Magazine Cover, An online exhibition and a documentary video telling of a gentleman's phenomenal DIGNITY story.
OUR DREAM as Team Dignity is primarily for two people. The man who shares the story and the viewer experiencing our man of Dignity sharing his story. For the man in front of the lense, we hope he would find healing through the photoshoot and interview process. It is our hope that in the Dignity process he finds compassion, acceptance and a new beginning where necessary. Restored Dignity is ultimately our hope.
To that man, we ask you that Dignity be one of the homes for your epic story. In our care, your story no matter how dark, light or deep reflects light that inspires our viewer the second person. In so doing we know that lives will be impacted and changed. We see light in your story.
Secondary to this cause our dream is to touch every viewer with a message of healing perspectives about men of colour and what they are able to accomplish through the medium of art. In sum, Our dream is to tell stories, yes, but more so to unapologetically infiltrate your thought process with that men of colour to have a right to be seen and even more so seen positively in the eyes of society. Dignity will always inspire, heal and challenge.
Know his Name
We emphasize that every man should be seen and called by his name. He is more than his profile or history.
Know his Story
Every man has a story. This is a complete non-negotiable statement. We are a platform that shares these stories so as to inspire, challenge and to heal. Our story-sharing platform is a reflective and healing space. There is no shame in our process. Healing our internal perspective is necessary for attaining and accessing our full abundant lives as people of colour.
Nobody will give us that, we have to intentionally educate ourselves, introduce ourselves to what we can heal and begin to live.
Restore Human
Dignity to his name
In everything we do on this platform, we have one goal. This goal is to reclaim his dignity by telling REAL stories of BREAKING through barriers. This is your brother and mine. He is a part of us and we are a part of him.
